Every service below is design and build together: we draw it, we agree the scope in writing, and our team constructs it. Nothing is built from a phone call.
Patios & gathering spaces
The floor of the whole backyard. We work out where people naturally sit, where they walk past, and how much room a table really needs before a single stone is set.
What's included
- Layout studies for seating, dining and circulation
- Paving, stone or poured surfaces with proper base build-up
- Level changes, steps and low seating walls where the ground asks for them
- Drainage and edge detailing so surfaces stay usable after rain
Scope is confirmed in writing at the design stage—nothing is built from a phone conversation.
Outdoor kitchens
Cooking outside works when the cook is part of the conversation. We plan the run of counter, storage and shelter around how your household actually hosts.
What's included
- Counter and appliance layout planned around prep, cook and serve zones
- Weather-appropriate cabinetry, stone surfaces and shade or roof structures
- Coordination of utility routes—gas, water and power—with licensed trades
- Lighting at the work surface as well as the seating
Appliance selection stays yours; we plan the openings and services around the models you choose.
Fire features
Fire is what keeps a backyard in use after the light goes. Placement matters more than the fixture—wind, seating distance and sightlines come first.
What's included
- Fire pit, fire table or linear trough options with seating laid out to suit
- Masonry surrounds, hearths and heat-appropriate materials
- Wood, gas or manufactured-unit routes explained side by side
- Clearances and permitting requirements identified before design sign-off
Gas connections are carried out by licensed specialists as part of the agreed build scope.
Planting & lighting
The layer that makes hard materials feel like a garden. Planting gives privacy and softness; lighting decides how long the space stays welcoming.
What's included
- Planting plans built around your light, soil and how much upkeep you want
- Screening and privacy layers instead of blank fence lines
- Low-voltage lighting for paths, steps, trees and gathering areas
- Simple seasonal care notes handed over at the end of the build
Ongoing garden care is a separate service, kept deliberately apart from design and build.
Secondary service
Landscape maintenance
Ongoing garden care—pruning, seasonal bed work, planting replacement, lighting checks and irrigation adjustment—is available as a separate service, arranged separately from any design or build work.
We keep it separate on purpose. A design conversation should be about your backyard, not about signing up for something recurring. If you'd rather maintain the garden yourself, the care notes handed over at the end of a build are written for exactly that.
